32절, 노아는 오백 세 된 후에 셈과 함과 야벳을 낳았더라 And Noah was a son of five hundred years; and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

‘노아’라는 교회는 홍수 전에 있었던 교회들 중 하나로 번호를 매기지는 않는다는 내용이 29절, ‘여호와께서 땅을 저주하시므로 수고롭게 일하는 우리를 이 아들이 안위하리라’에 나옵니다. ‘안위하다, 위로하다’는 것은 살아남아 견디는 것입니다. 노아와 그의 아들들에 관하여는 주님의 신적 자비, 곧 주님의 허락하심으로 이후 내용에서 다루겠습니다. That the church called “Noah” is not to be numbered among the churches that were before the flood, appears from verse 29, where it is said that it should “comfort them from their work and the toil of their hands, out of the ground which Jehovah hath cursed.” The “comfort” was that it should survive and endure. But concerning Noah and his sons, of the Lord’s Divine mercy hereafter.
