천국과 지상의 모든 것 간에 어떤 상응이 존재한다

There Is a Correspondence of Heaven with All Things of the Earth

신적 질서로(in accordance with Divine order) 생겨나고 존속하는 자연계 안의 모든 것이 상응물이다. 주님으로부터 나오는 신적 선(the Divine good)이 신적 질서를 이룬다. 이 질서는 주님 안에서 시작되고, 주님으로부터 나와 단계적으로 각 천국을 지나 세상에 이르러 그 최종단계의 사물에서(in outmosts) 끝을 맺는다. 거기서 신적 질서에 맞는(in accordance with) 것은 상응물이 된다. 거기서 선하고 쓰임에 적합한(good and perfect for use) 모든 것은 질서에 맞는 것이다. 모든 선은 그 유용성의 정도만큼(in the measure of its use) 선이다. 한편, 선의 형태는 진리와 관련이 있다. 진리는 선의 외형이기 때문이다. 그런 이유로, 온 세상의 존재 중 신적 질서에 맞고, 동시에 물질계의 속성을 가진 것은 선과 진리에 관련된다.주77 Everything in nature that springs forth and subsists in accordance with Divine order is a correspondence. Divine order is caused by the Divine good that flows forth from the Lord. It begins in him, goes forth from him through the heavens in succession into the world, and is terminated there in outmosts; and everything there that is in accordance with order is a correspondence. Everything there is in accordance with order that is good and perfect for use, because everything good is good in the measure of its use; while its form has relation to truth, truth being the form of good. And for this reason everything in the whole world and of the nature thereof that is in Divine order has reference to good and truth.77
