그러나 만일 그 깨어난 사람, 혹은 영이 누구한테 배우는 걸 좋아하는 그런 캐릭터가 아니어서 자기랑 함께 있는 천사들이 좀 가줬으면 하면, 천사들은 그걸 또 바로 알아차립니다. 내세에서는 모든 생각들이 서로 커뮤니케이션하기 때문이지요. 그들은 그러나 그럼에도 불구하고 여전히 그를 떠나지 않습니다. 대신 오히려 그가 그들을 떠나갑니다. 천사들은 모두를 사랑하며, 신참 영에게 친절한 서비스를 제공, 인도, 천국으로 데려가는 것 말고 따로 무슨 원하는 건 없습니다. 천사들의 가장 큰 기쁨은 이런 걸로 되어 있습니다. But if the resuscitated person or soul is not of such a character as to be willing to be instructed, he then desires to be rid of the company of the angels, which they exquisitely perceive, for in the other life there is a communication of all the ideas of thought. Still, they do not leave him even then, but he dissociates himself from them. The angels love everyone, and desire nothing more than to render him kindly services, to instruct him, and to convey him to heaven. In this consists their highest delight.
