18절, 야렛은 백육십이 세에 에녹을 낳았고 And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two years, and begat Enoch.

‘야렛’이라는 교회에 관해서는 아무것도 알려진 게 없습니다. 그러나 그 교회가 대략 어떠했으리라는 것은 그 앞 교회였던 ‘마할랄렐’과, 그 뒤 교회인 ‘에녹’을 보면 알 수 있습니다. 이 교회는 그 둘 사이에 있었기 때문입니다. Concerning the church called “Jared” nothing is related; but its character may be known from the church “Mahalalel” which preceded it, and the church “Enoch” which followed it, between which two it was intermediate.
