AC.15 설명, 천국의 모든 것 되시는 ‘주님의 신적 인성’(the Lord as to the Divine Human) (2024/6/10)

 

다음은 스베덴보리 저, ‘Arcana Coelestia’(창세기, 출애굽기 속뜻 주석) 7211번 글입니다. 이 글은 출애굽기 6장 8절 말씀 중, 아래 본문에 대한 주석 일부입니다.

 

좀 어려울 수도 있는 내용을 먼저 이렇게 소개하는 이유는, 천국에서 주님, 특히 주님의 신적 인성(the Divine Human)이 어떤 역할, 어떤 위치인지를 아는 것이, 그래서 오늘 AC.15번 글의 ‘주님’에 대한 이해를 더욱 생생하게 확장시켜 줄 수 있어서입니다.

 

참고로, 주님은 신성(the Divine, 여호와 하나님, 사람의 영에 해당)과 신적 인성(the Divine Human, 예수 그리스도, 사람의 육에 해당), 그리고 신적 활동(the Divine Operation, 성령, The Holy Spirit, 사람의 활동에 해당)으로 되어 있으신 분입니다. 이것이 바로 주님의 신적 삼위일체입니다. 그리고 주님의 신성은 선과 진리로 되어 있는데, 주님의 신성 중 선에 대한 호칭이 '여호와', 진리에 대한 호칭이 '하나님'이며, 또한 주님의 신적 인성 중 선에 대한 호칭이 '예수', 진리에 대한 호칭이 '그리스도'입니다.

 

내가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 주기로 맹세한 땅으로 너희를 인도하고 And I will bring you unto the land where I lifted up my hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

 

이 말씀은 신적 능력(the Divine power)에 의해 천국, 곧 주님의 신적 인성(the Divine Human of the Lord)이 모든 것인 곳으로 들어 올려짐을 의미하는데요, 이는 ‘땅으로 인도하고’(bringing to the land)의 의미, 즉 가나안으로 인도하고의 의미가 천국으로 들어 올려지는 것이라는 사실로부터(※ ‘가나안 땅’(the land of Canaan)이 주님의 나라, 즉 천국을 가리킨다는 7196번 글 참조), 그리고 ‘맹세한’(lifting up the hand)의 의미, 즉 이 말의 의미가 여호와, 곧 주님이 하실 때는 신적 능력에 의해서라는 사실로부터(※ 여기 ‘손’(hand)이 능력을 가리킨다는 것은 글 번호 878, 4931–4937, 5327–5328, 6947, 7011 참조), 그리고 아브라함, 이삭, 그리고 야곱이 표상하는 바가 주님의 신성 자체와 신적 인성(the Lord as to the Divine itself and as to the Divine human)인데, 여기서는 후자, 곧 신적 인성에 관한 주님이시며, 그 이유는 이것, 곧 주님의 신적 인성이 천국의 모든 것이기 때문이라는 사실로부터(※ 글 번호 6804, 6847 참조) 분명합니다. 신적 인성이 왜 천국의 모든 것인가 하는 것은, 그곳 어느 누구도, 심지어 가장 내적 천국, 곧 삼층천 천사들조차 신성 그 자체(the Divine itself)에 대해서는 그 어떤 아이디어도 가질 수 없기 때문입니다. 이는 요한복음에서 다음과 같이 주님이 하신 말씀으로 알 수 있습니다. ‘본래 하나님을 본 사람이 없으되’(No one hath ever seen God, 요1:18), ‘너희는 아무 때에도 그 음성을 듣지 못하였고 그 형상을 보지 못하였으며’(Ye have neither heard the voice of the Father at any time, nor seen his shape, 요5:37) 천사들은 유한하며, 유한한 것은 무한한 존재에 대해 그 어떤 아이디어도 가질 수 없기 때문이며, 그래서 그들은 천국에서 하나님에 대해 하나님은 사람 형상(a human shape)이라는 아이디어를 갖고 있지 않으면, 그들은 아이디어라는 걸 전혀 가질 수 없거나 무슨 이상한 아이디어를 갖게 되고, 그 결과 그들은 신앙으로나 사랑으로나 신성과 결합할 수 없게 되는데요, 바로 이것이 천국에서 천사들은 신성을 사람 형태(a human form)로 지각한다는 케이스가 됩니다. 모든 천국에서 신적 인성은 그들의 관점에서 모든 것이며, 그래서 그들의 신앙과 사랑에서도 모든 것이고, 바로 이 점이 구원이 시작되는 결합(the conjunction through which is salvation)이 오는 지점입니다. That this signifies an uplifting by the Divine power to heaven, where the Divine human of the Lord is all, is evident from the signification of “bringing to the land,” namely, to Canaan, as being to uplift to heaven (that the “land of Canaan” denotes the Lord’s kingdom or heaven, see n. 7196); from the signification of “lifting up the hand,” when said of Jehovah or the Lord, as being by Divine power (that “hand” denotes power, see n. 878, 4931–4937, 5327–5328, 6947, 7011); and from the representation of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as being the Lord as to the Divine itself and as to the Divine human (n. 6804, 6847); here the Lord as to the Divine human, because this is the all in heaven. The reason why the Divine human is the all in heaven, is that no one there, not even an angel of the inmost or third heaven, can have any idea about the Divine itself, according to the Lord’s words in John: “No one hath ever seen God” (John 1:18); “Ye have neither heard the voice of the Father at any time, nor seen his shape” (John 5:37). For the angels are finite, and what is finite cannot have an idea of the infinite; and therefore unless in heaven they had in respect to God the idea of a human shape, they would have no idea, or an unbecoming one; and thus they could not be conjoined with the Divine either by faith or by love; and this being the case, in heaven they perceive the Divine in a human form; whence it is that the Divine human in the heavens is the all in their regards, and hence is the all in their faith and love; whence comes the conjunction through which is salvation (n. 6700).
