9123. 이 장에서 다루는 주제는 그 속뜻으로는 신앙의 진리와 체어리티의 선(the truth of faith and the good of charity)에 여러 가지 방법으로 가해진 상처(injuries)와 그 수정(amendment), 회복(restoration), 그리고 그러한 상처가 소멸될 때 필요한 도움(aid)입니다. 그 후에는 신앙의 진리에 대한 가르침을 다루며, 끝으로 체어리티의 선 안에 있을 때, 즉 사람이 선을 행할 때, 그 사람의 삶(생명)의 상태를 다룹니다. The subject treated of in this chapter in the internal sense is the injuries occasioned in various ways to the truth of faith and the good of charity, and their amendment and restoration; also the aid to be brought should they be extinguished. Afterward instruction in the truths of faith is treated of; and lastly, the state of a man’s life when he is in the good of charity.
