All Heaven in the Aggregate Reflects a Single Man

천국의 총합이 한 사람의 모양이라는 것은 지금까지 세상에는 알려지지 않은 신비지만, 천국에서는 잘 알려진 사실이다. 이 사실과 그에 관련된 세부 사항들을 아는 것이 천사의 지성을 이루는 핵심이다. 천사들이 이 사실을 보편 원리로 삼고 있지 않으면 거기 의존하는 많은 것을 명확히 이해할 수 없다. 그들의 공동체도 각각 사람 모양을 하고 있음을 알기 때문에, 그들은 천국을 ‘가장 큰 신적 사람’(the greatest man and the Divine man)주60이라고 부른다. 신적이라고 부르는 이유는 주님의 신성이 천국을 이루기 때문이다 (AC.7-12). That heaven in its whole complex reflects a single man is an arcanum hitherto unknown in the world, but fully recognized in the heavens. To know this and the specific and particular things relating to it is the chief thing in the intelligence of the angels there, and on it many things depend which without it as their general principle would not enter distinctly and clearly into the ideas of their minds. Knowing that all the heavens with their societies reflect a single man they call heaven the greatest man and the Divine man 60 —Divine because it is the Divine of the Lord that makes heaven (see above, n. 7–12).
