20절, 아다는 야발을 낳았으니 그는 장막에 거주하며 가축을 치는 자의 조상이 되었고 And Adah bare Jabal; he was the father of the dweller in tents, and of cattle.

‘아다’는 앞서 말씀드린 것처럼, 신앙의 천적(天的, the celestial), 영적인 것들의 어머니를, ‘야발은 장막에 거주하며 가축(cattle)을 치는 자의 조상이 되었고’는 사랑의 거룩한 것들과 그로 말미암는 천적 선들에 관한 교리를 말합니다. By “Adah” is signified, as before, the mother of the celestial and spiritual things of faith; by “Jabal, the father of the dweller in tents, and of cattle,” is signified doctrine concerning the holy things of love, and the goods thence derived, which are celestial.
