우리 안에는 우리를 지으신 창조주의 매우 귀한 것들, 곧 전능하신 하나님의 것들이 들어있습니다.
이것은 나면서부터 그리고 우리가 이 나이 되도록, 창조주이시며 전능하신 하나님이신 여호와 우리 주님이 그러나 우리도 모르게 끊임없이 우리 안에 불어넣으신 것들입니다.
평소에 우리가 살면서 이것을 꺼내쓸 수 있으면 참 좋겠지만, 그러나 그것은 거의 불가능합니다. 왜냐하면 우리는 삶의 대부분을 자기 사랑과 세상 사랑, 곧 겉 사람의 일에 사로잡혀 보내기 때문입니다. 이 주님의 것들은 속 사람 안에 들어있어 우리가 겉 사람에게 매여 사는 동안은 밖으로 나올 수가 없습니다.
하지만 살다 보면, 이 겉 사람의 시간이 끝날 때가 몇 차례 오는데 그때가 바로 ‘절망적이고 앞이 캄캄할 때’입니다. 그러니까 겉 사람의 삶이 죽음을 맞이하는 것 같은 그런 때입니다. 그럴 때, 소위 정신이 번쩍 들고, 이게 뭐라고 내가 지금까지 이 부질없는 걸 붙잡겠다고 이 ㅈㄹ하며 살아왔나 하는 때입니다.
‘절망적이고 앞이 캄캄할 때’는 겉 사람이 죽고 속 사람이 깨어나는 때입니다.
한 가지, 어떤 사람한테는 이런 일이 단 한 번으로도 족하지만, 보통은 두세 번은 옵니다. 저 같은 ㄴ은 서너 번 왔지만 말입니다.
11또 이르시되 어떤 사람에게 두 아들이 있는데12그 둘째가 아버지에게 말하되 아버지여 재산 중에서 내게 돌아올 분깃을 내게 주소서 하는지라 아버지가 그 살림을 각각 나눠 주었더니13그후 며칠이 안 되어 둘째 아들이 재물을 다 모아가지고 먼 나라에 가 거기서 허랑방탕하여 그 재산을 낭비하더니14다 없앤 후 그 나라에 크게 흉년이 들어 그가 비로소 궁핍한지라15가서 그 나라 백성 중 한 사람에게 붙여 사니 그가 그를 들로 보내어 돼지를 치게 하였는데16그가 돼지 먹는 쥐엄 열매로 배를 채우고자 하되 주는 자가 없는지라17이에 스스로 돌이켜 이르되 내 아버지에게는 양식이 풍족한 품꾼이 얼마나 많은가 나는 여기서 주려 죽는구나18내가 일어나 아버지께 가서 이르기를 아버지 내가 하늘과 아버지께 죄를 지었사오니19지금부터는 아버지의 아들이라 일컬음을 감당하지 못하겠나이다 나를 품꾼의 하나로 보소서 하리라 하고20이에 일어나서 아버지께로 돌아가니라 아직도 거리가 먼데 아버지가 그를 보고 측은히 여겨 달려가 목을 안고 입을 맞추니21아들이 이르되 아버지 내가 하늘과 아버지께 죄를 지었사오니 지금부터는 아버지의 아들이라 일컬음을 감당하지 못하겠나이다 하나22아버지는 종들에게 이르되 제일 좋은 옷을 내어다가 입히고 손에 가락지를 끼우고 발에 신을 신기라23그리고 살진 송아지를 끌어다가 잡으라 우리가 먹고 즐기자24이 내 아들은 죽었다가 다시 살아났으며 내가 잃었다가 다시 얻었노라 하니 그들이 즐거워하더라(눅15:11-24)
주76. 이 세상과 그 가운데 세 종류의 계, 즉 동, 식물 및 광물계에 속한 모든 것은 천국에 있는 모든 천적인 것들과 상응한다. 즉 자연계에 있는 것들은 영계에 있는 것들과 상응한다 (AC.1632, 1881, 2758, 2760–2763, 2987–3003, 3213–3227, 3483, 3624–3649, 4044, 4053, 4116, 4366, 4939, 5116, 5377, 5428, 5477, 9280). 주94. 이 세상 해는 천사들한테는 보이지 않으며, 그 자리에 뭔가 그 뒤에 어두운, 그러니까 천국의 해, 즉 주님과 반대되는 것으로 보인다 (AC.7078, 9755). The sun of the world is not seen by the angels, but in its place something dark behind, opposite to the sun of heaven or the Lord (n. 7078, 9755). ‘해’는 그 반대의 의미로는 자기 사랑을 뜻한다 (AC.2441). In the opposite sense the “sun” signifies the love of self (n. 2441); 그리고 이런 의미에서 ‘해를 예배한다는 것’은 천국의 사랑, 즉 주님 사랑에 반대되는 걸 예배한다는 뜻이다 (AC.2441, 10584). and in this sense “to worship the sun” signifies to worship what is contrary to heavenly love or to the Lord (n. 2441, 10584). 지옥에 있는 사람들한테는 천국의 해는 짙은 어둠이다 (AC.2441). To those in the hells the sun of heaven is thick darkness (n. 2441).
주95. 주님은 천국의 모든 것이 몸을 돌려 바라보는 공통 중심(the common center)이시다 (AC.3633, 3641). The Lord is the common center to which all things of heaven turn (n. 3633, 3641).

In the Word “righteousness” is predicated of good, and “judgment” of truth; therefore “to do righteousness and judgment” is to do what is good and true (n. 2235, 9857).
