15절, 내가 너로 여자와 원수가 되게 하고 네 후손도 여자의 후손과 원수가 되게 하리니 여자의 후손은 네 머리를 상하게 할 것이요 너는 그의 발꿈치를 상하게 할 것이니라 하시고 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; he shall trample upon thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

‘여자’가 교회를 의미한다는 건 위(155번) 천국 결혼을 다룬 글을 보면 분명합니다. 천국이, 결과적으로는 교회가 주님과 그 오운(own)에 있어 주님도, 교회도 자신들의 오운 안에 있는 만큼 하나 되는 것, 이런 것이 바로 천국 결혼의 본성입니다. 오운 없이 무슨 하나 됨이라는 건 있을 수가 없기 때문이지요. 주님이 자비로 이노센스(innocence)와 평화, 그리고 선을 이 오운 안으로 스며들게 하실 때, 오운은 자신의 아이덴티티(identity)를 여전히 유지하면서도, 천국적이면서 가장 행복한 상태가 됩니다. 164번 글에서 볼 수 있는 것처럼 말입니다. 주님으로 말미암은 천국적, 천사적 오운의 퀄리티(quality)와, 자아로 말미암은 지옥적, 악마적 오운의 퀄리티는 설명이 불가능한데요, 그 차이는 천국과 지옥 같은 차이이기 때문입니다. That by the “woman” is meant the church, is evident from what was said above (n. 155) concerning the heavenly marriage. Such is the nature of the heavenly marriage, that heaven, and consequently the church, is united to the Lord by its own, insomuch that these are in their own, for without their own there can be no union. When the Lord in mercy instills innocence, peace, and good into this own, it still retains its identity, but becomes heavenly and most happy (as may be seen at n. 164). The quality of a heavenly and angelic own from the Lord, and the quality of an own, which, because from self, is infernal and diabolical, cannot be told. The difference is like that between heaven and hell.
