15절, 내가 너로 여자와 원수가 되게 하고 네 후손도 여자의 후손과 원수가 되게 하리니 여자의 후손은 네 머리를 상하게 할 것이요 너는 그의 발꿈치를 상하게 할 것이니라 하시고 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; he shall trample upon thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

신앙뿐 아니라 주님 자신도 ‘여자의 후손’(the seed of the woman)이라 하는 이유는, 주님은 홀로 신앙을 주는 분이시며, 그래서 주님이 곧 신앙이시기 때문이고, 또 주님은 사람으로 태어나 교회 안으로 들어오는 것을 기뻐하셨기 때문인데, 다만 이 교회는 자아 사랑과 세상 사랑의 결과, 아주 끔찍한, 지옥과도 같은 오운(own)으로 완전히 굴러떨어진 그런 교회였는데도 말입니다. 주님이 이렇게 하신 이유는, 주님의 신적 천적 오운과 주님의 휴먼 에센스에 있어서의 오운을 주님의 신적 권능으로 결합, 자기 안에서 하나 되게 하시기 위해서입니다. 만약 이런 하나 됨이 실현되지 않았더라면 이 모든 피조 세계는 완전히 소멸될 뻔하였습니다. Not only is faith but also the Lord himself is called the “seed of the woman,” both because he alone gives faith, and thus is faith, and because he was pleased to be born, and that into such a church as had altogether fallen into an infernal and diabolical own through the love of self and of the world, in order that by his Divine power he might unite the Divine celestial own with the human own in his human essence, so that in him they might be a one; and unless this union had been effected, the whole world must have utterly perished.
※ 부분적으로는 주님의 인성이 신적 인성(The Divine Human)이 되셔야만 했던 이야기를 하는 것입니다. 주님의 태생적 인성은 어머니 마리아를 통한, 악을 유전한 인성이었기 때문에 그것을 벗고 전혀 새로운 신적 인성이 되셔야만 하셨습니다. 이것은 대단히 중요한 내용으로서 나중에 따로 말씀드리겠습니다.
이런 사유로, 주님은 여자의 후손이시기 때문에, 그래서 ‘그것’(it)이 아닌, ‘그’(he)라 하신 것입니다. Because the Lord is thus the seed of the woman, it is not said “it,” but “he.”
