4절, 아벨은 자기도 양의 첫 새끼와 그 기름으로 드렸더니 여호와께서 아벨과 그의 제물은 받으셨으나 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock, and of the fat thereof. And Jehovah looked to Abel, and to his offering:

‘여호와께서 아벨과 그의 제물을 받으셨다’는 것은 체어리티에 속한 것들, 그리고 그에 기반한 모든 예배가 주님을 기쁘시게 함을 의미한다는 건 앞서 ‘아벨’과 ‘그의 제물’ 둘 다에 대한 글에서 설명했습니다. That “Jehovah looked to Abel, and to his offering,” signifies that the things of charity, and all worship grounded therein, are pleasing to the Lord, has been explained before, as regards both “Abel,” and his “offering.”
