천국의 하나님은 주님이시다 The God of Heaven Is the Lord

주13. 그리스도인들은 저세상에서 유일신 사상(唯一神, the idea of the one God)에 대한 조사를 받게 되는데, 일단 그들을 조사해 보면, 그들은 삼신 사상(三神, the idea of three Gods)을 갖고 있음이 드러난다 (AC.2329, 5256, 10736, 10738, 10821). Christians were examined in the other life in regard to their idea of the one God and it was found that they held the idea of three Gods (n. 2329, 5256, 10736, 10738, 10821). 주님의 신적 삼위일체(A Divine trinity in the Lord)가 천국에서는 인정되고 있다 (AC.14, 15, 1729, 2005, 5256, 9303). A Divine trinity in the Lord is acknowledged in heaven (n. 14, 15, 1729, 2005, 5256, 9303).

주14. 어떤 생각으로도 지각될 수 없는 신성은 신앙의 대상이 될 수 없다 (AC.4733, 5110, 5663, 6982, 6996, 7004, 7211, 9356, 9359, 9972, 10067, 10267). A Divine that cannot be perceived by any idea cannot be received by faith (n. 4733, 5110, 5663, 6982, 6996, 7004, 7211, 9356, 9359, 9972, 10067, 10267).

주15. 천국 전체가 주님의 것이다 (AC.2751, 7086). The entire heaven is the Lord’s (n. 2751, 7086). 주님은 하늘과 땅의 모든 권세를 갖고 계신다 (AC.1607, 10089, 10827). He has all power in the heavens and on the earths (n. 1607, 10089, 10827). 주님이 천국을 다스리시므로 주님은 또한 천국에 의존하는 모든 것, 곧 지상의 모든 것도 다스리신다 (AC.2026, 2027, 4523, 4524). As the Lord rules heaven He rules also all things that depend thereon, thus all things in the world (n. 2026, 2027, 4523, 4524). 주님 홀로 지옥들로부터 떨어트리시고, 악에서 떠나 선 가운데 있게 하시며, 그렇게 해서 구원하시는 권세가 있으시다 (AC.10019). The Lord alone has power to remove the hells, to withhold from evil and hold in good, and thus to save (n. 10019).

천국을 만드는 것은 주님의 신성이다 It Is the Divine of the Lord That Makes Heaven

주16. 천국 천사들은 모든 선은 주님으로 말미암으며, 자신들로부터는 아무것도 말미암지 않는다는 사실을 인정한다. 주님은 그들 안에 있는 주님의 것 안에 계시고, 그들의 것 안에는 계시지 않으신다 (AC.9338, 10125, 10151, 10157). The angels of heaven acknowledge all good to be from the Lord, and nothing from themselves, and the Lord dwells in them in His own and not in their own (n. 9338, 10125, 10151, 10157). 그래서 말씀에서 ‘천사들’(angels)은 주님께 속한 무엇을 의미한다 (AC.1925, 2821, 3039, 4085, 8192, 10528). Therefore in the Word by “angels” something of the Lord is meant (n. 1925, 2821, 3039, 4085, 8192, 10528). 더 나아가 천사들은 주님으로 말미암는 신성 수용체라는 의미에서 ‘신들’(gods)이라 한다 (AC.4295, 4402, 7268, 7873, 8192, 8301). Furthermore, angels are called “gods” from the reception of the Divine from the Lord (n. 4295, 4402, 7268, 7873, 8192, 8301). 거듭, 선이기 때문에 선한 모든 것, 진리이기 때문에 진리인 모든 것, 결과적으로, 모든 평화, 사랑, 체어리티, 그리고 신앙은 주님으로 말미암는다 (AC.1614, 2016, 2751, 2882, 2883, 2891, 2892, 2904). Again, all good that is good, and all truth that is truth, consequently all peace, love, charity, and faith, are from the Lord (n. 1614, 2016, 2751, 2882, 2883, 2891, 2892, 2904). 또한 모든 지혜와 지성도 마찬가지다 (AC.109, 112, 121, 124). Also all wisdom and intelligence (n. 109, 112, 121, 124).

주17. 천국에 있는 사람들은 주 안에 있다 한다 (AC.3637, 3638). Those who are in heaven are said to be in the Lord (n. 3637, 3638).

주18. 주님으로 말미암는 선은 그 안에 내적으로 주님이 계시지만, 사람으로 말미암는 선은 그렇지 않다 (AC.1802, 3951, 8480). Good from the Lord has the Lord inwardly in it, but good from one’s own has not (n. 1802, 3951, 8480).

천국에서 주님의 신성은 주님 사랑과 이웃 사랑이다 In Heaven the Divine of the Lord Is Love to Him and Charity toward the Neighbor

주19. 말씀에서 ‘불’(fire)은 천국적 사랑과 지옥적 사랑을 의미한다 (AC.934, 4906, 5215). In the Word “fire” signifies heavenly love and infernal love (n. 934, 4906, 5215). ‘거룩한 하늘의 불’(Holy and heavenly fire)은 신적 사랑과 그 사랑에 속한 모든 애정을 의미한다 (AC.934, 6314, 6832). “Holy and heavenly fire” signifies Divine love, and every affection that belongs to that love (n. 934, 6314, 6832). 불에서 나오는 ‘빛’(Light)은 사랑의 선에서 나오는 진리를 의미한다. 천국에 충만한 빛은 신적 진리를 의미한다 (AC.3195, 3485, 3636, 3643, 3993, 4302, 4413, 4415, 9548, 9684). “Light” from fire signifies truth going forth from good of love; and light in heaven signifies Divine truth (n. 3195, 3485, 3636, 3643, 3993, 4302, 4413, 4415, 9548, 9684).

주20. 사랑은 생명의 불이며, 생명 자체가 실제로 사랑에서 나온다 (AC.4906, 5071, 6032, 6314). Love is the fire of life, and life itself is actually therefrom (n. 4906, 5071, 6032, 6314).

주21. 주님과 이웃을 사랑하는 것은 주님의 계명을 따라 사는 것이다 (AC.10143, 10153, 10310, 10578, 10648). To love the Lord and the neighbor is to live according to the Lord’s commandments (n. 10143, 10153, 10310, 10578, 10648).

주22. 이웃을 사랑한다는 것은 이웃을 한 개인으로 사랑하는 것이 아니라 그의 안에 있는 주님의 것(in him from which he is what he is)인 진리와 선을 사랑하는 것이다 (AC.5028, 10336). To love the neighbor is not to love the person, but to love that in him from which he is what he is, that is, his truth and good (n. 5028, 10336). 사람을 사랑하지, 그 사람 안에 있는 주님의 것을 사랑하지는 않는 사람들은 악과 선을 같이 사랑하는 것이다 (AC.3820). Those who love the person, and not that in him from which he is what he is, love evil and good alike (n. 3820). 체어리티(charity)는 진리를 위하여 진리를 의도하고, 진리로 감동되어 진리에 대한 애정을 갖는 것이다 (AC.3876, 3877). Charity is willing truths and being affected by truths for the sake of truths (n. 3876, 3877). 이웃을 향한 체어리티는 모든 일과 모든 역할, 쓰임새 가운데 선, 정의 및 의로운 것을 행하는 것이다 (AC.8120–8122). Charity toward the neighbor is doing what is good, just, and right, in every work and in every function (n. 8120–8122).

주23. 천사들은 사랑과 체어리티의 형상이다 (AC.3804, 4735, 4797, 4985, 5199, 5530, 9879, 10177). Angels are forms of love and charity (n. 3804, 4735, 4797, 4985, 5199, 5530, 9879, 10177).

주24. 영적 구체(球體, sphere)는 생명의 구체인데, 모든 사랑, 영, 천사에게서 흘러넘치고 뿜어져 나와 그들 자신을 에워싼다 (AC.4464, 5179, 7454, 8630). A spiritual sphere, which is a sphere of the life, overflows and pours forth from every man, spirit, and angel, and encompasses them (n. 4464, 5179, 7454, 8630). 이것은 그들의 애정과 그에 따른 사고의 생명에서 나온다 (AC.2489, 4464, 6206). It flows from the life of their affection and consequent thought (n. 2489, 4464, 6206).

주님의 ‘신적 인성’(神的 人性, The Divine Human) (2025/8/4)

어제는 월초 첫 주라 예배 때 성찬이 있었습니다. 아래는 저희가 성찬 때 늘 나누는 메시지입니다.

26그들이 먹을 때에 예수께서 떡을 가지사 축복하시고 떼어 제자들에게 주시며 이르시되 받아서 먹으라 이것은 내 몸이니라 하시고 27또 잔을 가지사 감사 기도 하시고 그들에게 주시며 이르시되 너희가 다 이것을 마시라 28이것은 죄 사함을 얻게 하려고 많은 사람을 위하여 흘리는 바 나의 피 곧 언약의 피니라 (마26:26-28)

주님이 생전에 남기신 두 가지 예전은 침례(세례)와 성찬입니다. 주님의 모든 활동은 세 가지, 곧 주님과 천국, 그리고 교회에 포커스가 맞춰져 있으며, 말씀 또한 그렇습니다. 이 두 예전은 바로 이것과 깊은 연관이 있는데, 침례가 그 첫 번째로, 교회의 일원이 되는 것이며, 성찬은 그 두 번째, 천국의 일원이 되는 것이기 때문입니다. 천국의 대기(大氣)는 주님의 신성(神性, The Divine)입니다. 생전에 우리 안에 이 주님의 신성이 형성되어 있어야 사후 우리는 천국의 대기를 호흡할 수 있어 천국에 머무를 수 있습니다. 평소 우리 안에 이 주님의 신성 형성하는 걸 ‘주님을 닮는다’ 하는데, 구체적으로는 주님 사랑을 가지고 이웃을 사랑하는 것, 곧 체어리티(charity)의 삶을 사는 것입니다. 주님의 신성은 선(善, Divine Good)과 진리(眞理, Divine Truth)로 되어 있으며, 그래서 떡으로는 주님의 선을, 잔으로는 주님의 진리를 각각 상징하였고, 또한 각각 주님의 살과 피로 주님의 신적 인성(神的 人性, The Divine Human)을 나타내셨습니다.

여기 이 맨 마지막 문장에 나오는 주님의 ‘신적 인성’(神的 人性, The Divine Human)에 대한 언급이 좀 있었대서 이 글로 정리합니다.

그 전에 잠깐 주님에 관한 호칭들을 정리하고 가겠습니다.

주님은 신성(神性)과 인성(人性)이 하나 되신 신(神)이시며, 또한 선과 진리의 속성을 갖고 계신 분입니다. 선은 천적(天的, celestial), 진리는 영적(靈的, spiritual)입니다.

‘여호와 하나님’은 주님의 신성 호칭이며, 이때 ‘여호와’는 선, 곧 천적 호칭, ‘하나님’은 진리, 곧 영적 호칭입니다.

‘예수 그리스도’는 주님의 인성, 곧 신적 인성 호칭이며, 이때 ‘예수’는 선, 곧 천적 호칭, ‘그리스도’는 진리, 곧 영적 호칭입니다.

부활하신 후 주님은 이 모든 호칭을 하나의 호칭인 ‘주님’으로 정하셨습니다. 주님의 인성이 주님의 신성과 하나가 되셨기 때문입니다.

네, 그럼, 여기서 질문!

주님은 왜 그냥 본 모습이신 여호와로 직접 오셔서 상황을 정리하시지 않고, 번거롭게 예수 그리스도라는 중간 과정을 밟으셔야만 하셨나?

답은, 여호와는 영계, 자연계를 포함한 이 피조세계 전체조차 감당할 수 없으신 존재이기 때문입니다.

그러니까 비유하자면, 우리가 저 하늘의 해를 육안으로 직접 보면 안 되는 것처럼, 우리가 뜨거운 용광로 곁을 맨몸으로 다가가면 안 되는 것처럼, 우리가 발전소 전기를 일반 가정집에서 직접 받을 수 없는 것처럼, 그리고 우리의 오감, 곧 청각, 시각, 후각, 미각, 촉각이 중간에서 그 역할을 대행하는 중간 매체 없이는 외부의 그 어떤 것도 감각할 수 없는 것처럼, 즉 귀라는 대행체 없이 우리가 어떻게 소리를 듣겠으며, 눈이라는 대행체 없이 어떻게 사물을 볼 수 있겠는가 하는 이유 때문입니다.

주님이 여호와로 직접 이 피조세계를 방문하시면, 천국이든 지옥이든, 그리고 이 세상이든 소멸하고 말기 때문에, 사랑 그 자체이신 여호와께서는 약간의 불편을 감수하시고 예수 그리스도로 오신 것입니다. 여호와는 우리의 상상을 초월한, 우리의 인지 능력 아득히 저 너머에 계신 신이십니다.

이렇게 피조세계가 여호와를 접촉하여 알기 위해서는 반드시 피조물에게 맞춤된 중간 매체, 중간 역할이 필요했던 것이며, 그래서 여호와께서는 예수 그리스도로 이 세상에 오셔야만 했던 것입니다. 오셔서 당시 급했던 영계의 균형을 바로잡으시고, 모든, 우리는 아무도 몰랐던 이 피조세계 전체의 질서를 회복하셨던 것입니다.

이 모든 것을 저 성찬 메시지 맨 마지막 문장, ‘주님의 살과 피로 주님의 신적 인성(神的 人性, The Divine Human)을 나타내셨습니다’로 요약한 것이지요. 이런 엄청난, 어마어마한 일을 하시기 위해 주님은 반드시 마리아로 유전한 유전 악을 극복, 벗어버리심으로써 자신의 인성을 신성으로 회복하셔야만 했고, 우리는 그것을 ‘신적 인성’(The Divine Human)이라 부르고 있습니다.
