11-12절, 11첫째의 이름은 비손이라 금이 있는 하윌라 온 땅을 둘렀으며 12그 땅의 금은 순금이요 그곳에는 베델리엄과 호마노도 있으며 The name of the first is Pishon; that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. And the gold of that land is good; there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

‘첫 번째’ 강, ‘비손’(Pishon)은 사랑에서 나오는 신앙 지성(the intelligence of the faith that is from love)을, ‘하윌라 땅’(the land of Havilah)은 마음(the mind)을, ‘금’(gold)은 선을, ‘베델리엄과 호마노’(bdellium and the onyx stone)는 진리를 상징합니다. ‘금’이 두 번 언급되는 이유는 이 금이 사랑의 선과 사랑에서 나오는 신앙의 선(the good of love and the good of faith from love)을 상징하기 때문이며, ‘베델리엄과 호마노’는 하나는 사랑의 진리(the truth of love)를, 다른 하나는 사랑에서 나오는 신앙의 진리(the truth of faith from love)를 상징하기 때문입니다. 이런 게 천적 인간(the celestial man)입니다. The “first” river, or “Pishon,” signifies the intelligence of the faith that is from love; “the land of Havilah” signifies the mind; “gold” signifies good; “bdellium and the onyx stone,” truth. “Gold” is mentioned twice because it signifies the good of love and the good of faith from love; and “bdellium and the onyx stone” are mentioned because the one signifies the truth of love, and the other the truth of faith from love. Such is the celestial man.
