19-20절, 19여호와 하나님이 흙으로 각종 들짐승과 공중의 각종 새를 지으시고 아담이 무엇이라고 부르나 보시려고 그것들을 그에게로 이끌어 가시니 아담이 각 생물을 부르는 것이 곧 그 이름이 되었더라 And Jehovah God formed out of the ground every beast of the field, and every fowl of the heavens, and brought it to the man to see what he would call it; and whatsoever the man called every living soul, that was the name thereof. 20아담이 모든 가축과 공중의 새와 들의 모든 짐승에게 이름을 주니라 아담이 돕는 배필이 없으므로 And the man gave names to every beast, and to the fowl of the heavens, and to every wild animal of the field; but for the man there was not found a help as with him.

먼저 주님은 그가 당신이 주신 선에 대한 애정들과 진리에 대한 지식들에 대해 알게 하셨지만, 그러나 그는 여전히 자신의 오운(own, proprium, ~다움, ~스러움, 그에게 고유한 어떤 성질, 그를 딱 규정할 수 있는 어떤 거) 쪽으로 기울고 있습니다. (19-20절) And first it is given him to know the affections of good and the knowledges of truth with which he is endowed by the Lord; but still he inclines to his own (verses 19–20).
