16절, 또 여자에게 이르시되 내가 네게 임신하는 고통을 크게 더하리니 네가 수고하고 자식을 낳을 것이며 너는 남편을 원하고 남편은 너를 다스릴 것이니라 하시고 And unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth sons, and thine obedience shall be to thy man [vir], and he shall rule over thee.

지금까지 교회가 ‘여자’로 상징됨을 보여드렸다면, 여기서는 그랬던 교회가 이제는 오운(own)으로 왜곡되었음을 보여드리는데요, 이 오운은 앞서 '여자'에 의해 그 자체로 상징되었던, 그래서 순수했던 오운입니다. 지금 다루고 있는 내용이 태고교회 후손들의 이야기, 오랜 세월 왜곡되어 망가진 후손들 이야기이기 때문입니다.
