 창3:20-24

 

20아담이 그의 아내의 이름을 하와라 불렀으니 그는 모든 산 자의 어머니가 됨이더라 And the man [homo] called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living. 21여호와 하나님이 아담과 그의 아내를 위하여 가죽옷을 지어 입히시니라 And Jehovah God made for the man and for his wife coats of skin, and clothed them. 22여호와 하나님이 이르시되 보라 이 사람이 선악을 아는 일에 우리 중 하나 같이 되었으니 그가 그의 손을 들어 생명 나무 열매도 따먹고 영생할까 하노라 하시고 And Jehovah God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, knowing good and evil; and now lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of lives, and eat, and live to eternity, 23여호와 하나님이 에덴동산에서 그를 내보내어 그의 근원이 된 땅을 갈게 하시니라 Therefore Jehovah God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken. 24이같이 하나님이 그 사람을 쫓아내시고 에덴동산 동쪽에 그룹들과 두루 도는 불 칼을 두어 생명 나무의 길을 지키게 하시니라 And he cast out the man; and he made to dwell from the east toward the garden of Eden cherubim, and the flame of a sword turning itself, to keep the way of the tree of lives.

21절은, 그 첫 번째 후손, 그 안에 천적 영적 선이 있었던, 그리고 그 두 번째, 세 번째 후손, 그 안에  자연적 선이 있었던, 이런 내용을 ‘여호와 하나님이 아담과 그의 아내를 위하여 지으신 가죽옷’(the coat of skin which Jehovah God made for the man and his wife)이라는 워딩으로 상징하고 있습니다. (21절) Of its first posterity, in which there was celestial spiritual good; and of its second and third, in which there was natural good, signified by the “coat of skin which Jehovah God made for the man and his wife.” (verse 21)
