22절, 여호와 하나님이 아담에게서 취하신 그 갈빗대로 여자를 만드시고 그를 아담에게로 이끌어 오시니 And the rib which Jehovah God had taken from the man, he built into a woman, and brought her to the man.

사람의 오운(man’s own)이 아니면서, 그리고 사람의 오운에서 나오는 것도 아니면서 악하고 거짓된 것은 가능하지조차 않습니다. 사람의 오운은 악 그 자체이며, 그 결과, 사람은 악과 거짓 외에 아무것도 아니기 때문입니다. 영들의 세계에서는 사람의 오운과 관련된 것들이 눈에 보이게 나타나는데, 그때 그것들은 너무나 기형적이어서 어떻게 형용할 수조차 없을 정도로 추한, 그리고 기괴한 모습으로 나타납니다. 오운의 본성에 따라 차이는 있지만 말입니다. 그때 자신의 오운에 속한 것들을 처음 자기 눈으로 보게 된 사람은 그 실제 모습을 보고는 공포에 휩싸일 정도로 충격을 받아 마치 악마로부터 도망치듯 자신으로부터 도망치고 싶어 하는데요, 저는 지금도 이런 장면을 계속 보기 때문에, 앞서 드린 말씀이 제게는 너무나도 분명한 사실임을 말씀드릴 수 있습니다. 하지만 이와는 반대로, 참으로 주님으로 말미암아 생생해진 사람의 오운에 속한 것들은 아름답고 사랑스럽게, 그리고 주님께 속한 천적인 것들이 적용될 수 있는 삶을 따라 다양하게 나타납니다. 그리고 실제로 체어리티(charity)를 받아왔거나 체어리티로 생생해진 사람들은 정말 아름다운 얼굴을 가진 소년, 소녀처럼 보입니다. 또 벌거벗은 유아처럼, 이노센스(innocence) 가운데 있는 사람들은 가슴과 머리 위 왕관을 두른 꽃 화환으로 다양하게 장식되어 있는데요, 다이아몬드 같은 아우라(aura) 가운데서 즐겁게 지내며, 가장 내적인 데서 오는 행복 관련 퍼셉션(perception)을 갖고 있지요. Nothing evil and false is ever possible which is not man’s own, and from man’s own, for the own of man is evil itself, and consequently man is nothing but evil and falsity. This has been evident to me from the fact that when the things of man’s own are presented to view in the world of spirits, they appear so deformed that it is impossible to depict anything more ugly, yet with a difference according to the nature of the own, so that he to whom the things of the own are visibly exhibited is struck with horror, and desires to flee from himself as from a devil. But truly the things of man’s own that have been vivified by the Lord appear beautiful and lovely, with variety according to the life to which the celestial of the Lord can be applied; and indeed those who have been endowed with charity, or vivified by it, appear like boys and girls with most beautiful countenances; and those who are in innocence, like naked infants, variously adorned with garlands of flowers encircling their bosoms, and diadems upon their heads, living and sporting in a diamond-like aura, and having a perception of happiness from the very inmost.
