24절, 이러므로 남자가 부모를 떠나 그의 아내와 합하여 둘이 한 몸을 이룰지로다 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh.

이 태고교회의 후손은 악하지 않았고, 여전히 선했습니다. 그러면서도 그들은 겉 사람으로, 즉 그들의 오운(own)으로 살기를 원했기 때문에, 주님은 이를 허락하셨는데요, 그러나 주님은 그런 중에도 자비롭게 그 안으로 영적, 천적인 것들이 스며들게 하셨습니다. 내적인 것과 외적인 것, 속과 겉이 어떻게 하나로 움직이는지, 즉 어떻게 하나로 나타나는지 하는 건 한 쪽에서 다른 쪽으로 흐르는 인플럭스(influx, 入流)라는 걸 모르면 알 수 없는데요, 이걸 알기 위해 어떤 행위를 하나 생각해 보면, 어떤 행위에 체어리티(charity), 즉 사랑과 신앙이 없으면, 그리고 그 안에 주님이 계시지 않으면, 그 행위는 체어리티의 일, 즉 신앙의 열매라 할 수 없는 걸 보면 되겠습니다. This posterity of the most ancient church was not evil, but was still good; and because they desired to live in the external man or in their own, this was permitted them by the Lord; what is spiritual celestial, however, being mercifully instilled therein. How the internal and external act as a one, or how they appear as a one, cannot be known unless the influx of the one into the other is known. In order to conceive some idea of it, take for example an action. Unless in an action there is charity, that is, love and faith, and in these the Lord, that action cannot be called a work of charity, or the fruit of faith.

24절, 이러므로 남자가 부모를 떠나 그의 아내와 합하여 둘이 한 몸을 이룰지로다 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh.

‘부모를 떠나’(To leave father and mother)는 속 사람으로부터 물러나는 것인데요, 겉을 잉태하고 낳는 것은 속이기 때문입니다. ‘그의 아내와 합하여’(to cleave unto his wife)는 속이 겉 안에 있을 수 있다는 것입니다. ‘둘이 한 몸을 이룰지로다’(to be one flesh)는 그들, 곧 겉과 속이 거기 같이 있는 것입니다. 전에는 속 사람과 속에서 나온 겉이 영이었지만, 이제 이들은 육이 되었기 때문입니다. 이렇게 해서 천적, 영적 생명은 오운(own), 즉 그들로 하나가 될 수 있게 하는 오운과 인접해졌습니다. To “leave father and mother” is to recede from the internal man, for it is the internal which conceives and brings forth the external; to “cleave unto his wife” is that the internal may be in the external; to “be one flesh,” that they are there together; and because previously the internal man and the external from the internal were spirit, but now they have become flesh. Thus was celestial and spiritual life adjoined to the own, that they might be as one.

23절, 아담이 이르되 이는 내 뼈 중의 뼈요 살 중의 살이라 이것을 남자에게서 취하였은즉 여자라 부르리라 하니라 And the man said, This now is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; therefore she shall be called wife, because she was taken out of man [vir].

그러나 천적 인간의 상태를 이해하지 못하면 이런 것들이 어떻게 이런 경우가 되는지 지각하기란 쉽지 않습니다. 천적 인간에게 있어 속 사람은 겉 사람과 구별되는데, 실제로는 너무나 구별되어, 속 사람에게 속한 거, 겉 사람에게 속한 거, 그리고 겉 사람은 어떻게 주님에 의해 속 사람을 통해 다스림을 받는지를 지각할 정도입니다. 그러나 이 천적 인간의 후손의 상태는 자신들의 오운, 곧 겉 사람에게 속한 오운을 원한 결과, 겉 사람과 구별되어야 할 속 사람을 더 이상 지각도 못할 정도로, 그리고 속 사람을 겉 사람하고 같은 걸로 여길 정도로 바뀌고 말았는데요, 퍼셉션이 이런 상태, 곧 거의 맛을 잃은 소금 같은 상태가 되는 일은 사람이 자신의 오운으로 기울어질 때 발생하기 때문입니다. But it is not easy to perceive how the case is with these things unless the state of the celestial man is understood. In the celestial man the internal man is distinct from the external, indeed so distinct that the celestial man perceives what belongs to the internal man, and what to the external, and how the external man is governed through the internal by the Lord. But the state of the posterity of this celestial man, in consequence of desiring their own, which belongs to the external man, was so changed that they no longer perceived the internal man to be distinct from the external, but imagined the internal to be one with the external, for such a perception takes place when man inclines to his own.
