Genesis 5

1이것은 아담의 계보를 적은 책이니라 하나님이 사람을 창조하실 때에 하나님의 모양대로 지으시되 This is the book of the births of man. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him. 2남자와 여자를 창조하셨고 그들이 창조되던 날에 하나님이 그들에게 복을 주시고 그들의 이름을 사람이라 일컬으셨더라 Male and female created he them, and blessed them, and called their name man, in the day when they were created. 3아담은 백삼십 세에 자기의 모양 곧 자기의 형상과 같은 아들을 낳아 이름을 셋이라 하였고 And man lived a hundred and thirty years, and begat into his likeness, after his image, and called his name Seth. 4아담은 셋을 낳은 후 팔백 년을 지내며 자녀들을 낳았으며 And the days of man after he begat Seth were eight hundred years; and he begat sons and daughters. 5그는 구백삼십 세를 살고 죽었더라 And all the days that man lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died. 6셋은 백오 세에 에노스를 낳았고 And Seth lived a hundred and five years, and begat Enosh. 7에노스를 낳은 후 팔백칠 년을 지내며 자녀들을 낳았으며 And Seth lived after he begat Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters. 8그는 구백십이 세를 살고 죽었더라 And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died. 9에노스는 구십 세에 게난을 낳았고 And Enosh lived ninety years, and begat Kenan. 10게난을 낳은 후 팔백십오 년을 지내며 자녀들을 낳았으며 And Enosh lived after he begat Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years; and begat sons and daughters. 11그는 구백오 세를 살고 죽었더라 And all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died. 12게난은 칠십 세에 마할랄렐을 낳았고 And Kenan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalalel. 13마할랄렐을 낳은 후 팔백사십 년을 지내며 자녀들을 낳았으며 And Kenan lived after he begat Mahalalel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters. 14그는 구백십 세를 살고 죽었더라 And all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died. 15마할랄렐은 육십오 세에 야렛을 낳았고 And Mahalalel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared. 16야렛을 낳은 후 팔백삼십 년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며 And Mahalalel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters. 17그는 팔백구십오 세를 살고 죽었더라 And all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred ninety and five years; and he died. 18야렛은 백육십이 세에 에녹을 낳았고 And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two years, and begat Enoch. 19에녹을 낳은 후 팔백 년을 지내며 자녀들을 낳았으며 And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters. 20그는 구백육십이 세를 살고 죽었더라 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years; and he died. 21에녹은 육십오 세에 므두셀라를 낳았고 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah. 22므두셀라를 낳은 후 삼백 년을 하나님과 동행하며 자녀들을 낳았으며 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters. 23그는 삼백육십오 세를 살았더라 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years. 24에녹이 하나님과 동행하더니 하나님이 그를 데려가시므로 세상에 있지 아니하였더라 And Enoch walked with God, and he was no more, for God took him. 25므두셀라는 백팔십칠 세에 라멕을 낳았고 And Methuselah lived a hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech. 26라멕을 낳은 후 칠백팔십이 년을 지내며 자녀를 낳았으며 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters. 27그는 구백육십구 세를 살고 죽었더라 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years; and he died. 28라멕은 백팔십이 세에 아들을 낳고 And Lamech lived a hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son; 29이름을 노아라 하여 이르되 여호와께서 땅을 저주하시므로 수고롭게 일하는 우리를 이 아들이 안위하리라 하였더라 And he called his name Noah, saying, He shall comfort us from our work, and the toil of our hands, out of the ground which Jehovah hath cursed. 30라멕은 노아를 낳은 후 오백구십오 년을 지내며 자녀들을 낳았으며 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters. 31그는 칠백칠십칠 세를 살고 죽었더라 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years; and he died. 32노아는 오백 세 된 후에 셈과 함과 야벳을 낳았더라 And Noah was a son of five hundred years; and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

THE CONTENTS

460. 이 장은 특별히 거의 홍수 전까지 죽 이어진 세대들을 통해 태고교회가 퍼져나간 것을 다루고 있습니다. This chapter treats specifically of the propagation of the most ancient church through successive generations, almost to the flood.

461. 태고 교회 자체는, 천적이었는데, ‘사람’(아담, man, [homo])이라는 이름으로, ‘하나님의 모양’이라는 이름으로 부르고 있는 교회입니다. The most ancient church itself, which was celestial, is what is called “man” [homo], and a “likeness of God.” (1절)

462. 태고 교회처럼 그렇게 천적이지는 않았던 두 번째 교회를 ‘셋’이라는 이름으로 부르고 있습니다. A second church which was not so celestial as the most ancient church is called “Seth.” (2-3절)

463. 세 번째 교회는 ‘에노스’라는 이름으로, 네 번째는 ‘게난’, 다섯 번째는 ‘마할랄렐’, 여섯 번째는 ‘야렛’, 일곱 번째는 ‘에녹’, 그리고 여덟 번째는 ‘므두셀라’로 각각 불렀습니다. A third church was called “Enosh;” (6절) a fourth “Kenan;” (9절) a fifth “Mahalalel;” (12절) a sixth “Jared;” (15절) a seventh “Enoch;” (18절) and an eighth church “Methuselah.” (21절)

464. ‘에녹’이라는 교회는 태고 교회에 계시되고, 지각된 것들로부터 골격이 짜여진 교리로 그려지고 있습니다. 이 교리는 당시에는 안 사용되고 대신 후손들의 사용을 위해 보전되었습니다. The church called “Enoch” is described as framing doctrine from what was revealed to and perceived by the most ancient church, which doctrine, although of no use at that time, was preserved for the use of posterity.

이걸 ‘하나님이 그를 데려가시므로 세상에 있지 아니하였더라’ 이렇게 상징적으로 말하고 있는 것입니다. This is signified by its being said that “Enoch was no more, because God took him.” (22-24절)

465. 아홉 번째 교회는 ‘라멕’이라는 이름으로 불렀습니다. A ninth church was called “Lamech.” (25절)

466. 열 번째 교회, 이 교회는 홍수 후 세 교회의 부모로서, ‘노아’라는 이름으로 불렀습니다. A tenth, the parent of three churches after the flood, was named “Noah.”

이 교회를 고대 교회라는 이름으로 부르고 있습니다. This church is to be called the ancient church. (28-29절)

467. ‘라멕’은 태고 교회가 즐겁게 누리던 퍼셉션을 하나도 가지고 있지 않은 교회로 그려지는 반면, ‘노아’는 일종의 새 교회로 그려지고 있습니다. “Lamech” is described as retaining nothing of the perception which the most ancient church enjoyed; and “Noah” is described as a new church. (29절)
